Mandated Reporter

Well&Town operates in accordance with all applicable mandated reporting laws in the State of California.

 

Duty to Report

All staff members are legally required to report any suspected:

• Child abuse or neglect

• Harm or threat of harm to a youth

• Danger to self or others

Reports will be made to the appropriate authorities, including child protective services or law enforcement, as required by law.

No Confidentiality in Cases of Harm

While confidentiality is a priority, it does not apply in situations where there is a legal obligation to report concerns for safety or wellbeing.

Commitment to Safety

These reporting requirements are in place to protect youth and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times. For emergencies, individuals should contact 911 or local authorities immediately.
